Services
Every service below is a module we snap into route packs. None include commission-driven hotel bookings.
1. Mansoura Museum hour verification
Nadia El-Kholy phones the municipal museum on El Gomhouria Street before your visit. She confirms Crusader hall access, Umm El Qura gallery rotation, and whether photography permits are sold that week. School group bookings often close the upper floor without updating websites—our call prevents wasted taxi fares from Gamal Abdel Nasser hotels.
Deliverables include a timed sequence: ground-floor Islamic ceramics before 10:00, Umm El Qura harbour finds mid-morning, Mamluk weaponry after a café break. We note Arabic spellings for taxi drivers: متحف المنصورة. Pair with our museum guide.
When the museum hosts temporary exhibitions from Cairo conservation labs, cases on the ground floor shrink and Umm El Qura material moves to annex vitrines. Nadia photographs case maps when curators allow so your PDF matches reality. She also records whether the elevator serving the Crusader wing operates—out-of-service weeks force a single-floor visit plan.
Ticket windows accept Egyptian pounds only; student cards from foreign universities rarely qualify for local student rates. We list adult and camera fees as separate line items so you carry correct change before queuing in humid lobby air.
2. Umm El Qura artifact orientation
The ancient harbour mound at Umm El Qura supplied much of the Mansoura Museum pottery sequence. We provide context sheets linking display cases to excavation seasons so you understand provenance without hiring a lecturer. When pieces travel to Cairo for conservation, we flag gaps honestly.
Harbour typology handouts explain amphora neck stamps, fishing weight clays, and Ptolemaic coin corrosion patterns visible in Case Group B. Researchers receive bibliography pointers to EES bulletins without reproducing copyrighted plates.
3. Mansoura University museum appointments
Campus collections—especially vertebrate paleontology—require faculty secretary approval. Youssef Nabil schedules English student guides when available. Distinct from the municipal museum; see university museum access.
Gate security asks purpose in Arabic; we supply a one-line Arabic slip showing appointment time and faculty sponsor name. Whale vertebra halls need flash-off photography—guards enforce strictly.
4. Rosetta branch Ottoman walk sequencing
Layla Mansour orders Abu Mandour Street houses by conservation status and shade. Routes start at the Rashid corniche, move inland to merchant facades with mashrabiya screens, and finish before shop closures at Maghrib. Ferry times to the western bank are checked when low Nile threatens service. Full detail on Rosetta branch guide.
House numbers with intact lintel carvings rotate in priority when scaffolding appears—Layla updates photo references monthly during conservation season.
5. Damietta port and fish market mornings
Karim Fouda logs sardine auction windows—typically 06:30–09:00—and harbour gate etiquette for cameras. Routes include return microbus options via the eastern delta road and optional stops at Damietta furniture workshops. See Damietta port guide.
Harbour PPE is not supplied—avoid white shoes. Ice truck paths mark safe standing zones away from crane swing radius.
6. Agricultural delta village loops
Microbus chains from Mansoura through rice plots, dairy cooperatives, and Friday vegetable markets. We specify where to shout stop names in Arabic and realistic durations from Cairo Turgoman station. Covered in Nile delta tours.
Dairy tasting stops require cash for small cheese rounds—cards unused. Pigeon tower photography stays roadside unless farmers wave you in.
7. Tell el-Daba archaeology access
Youssef maintains guard mobile numbers for the Hyksos-period mound. Routes include shade planning, closed shoes for thorns, and private hire fare benchmarks from Mansoura. Combine with Rosetta on western schedules. Cross-link archaeology sites.
Active excavation seasons restrict sectors—PDFs mark no-go tape colours used that year.
8. Mendes and Kom el-Hisn tell coordination
Mendes requires early starts before delta humidity peaks. Kom el-Hisn paths change after floods—we verify trackability after winter rains. Guards expect modest tips; we list suggested EGP ranges without forcing bundled guide fees.
Mendes ram-god temple outlines need telephoto from canal levee when mound centre is muddy.
9. Microbus and private hire fare surveys
Quarterly updates for Mansoura–Rosetta, Mansoura–Damietta, and Mansoura–Tell el-Daba legs. Tables show typical EGP fares post-fuel adjustments. Clients choosing private hire receive driver Arabic briefs to prevent detour commissions.
Union strikes occasionally pause ranks for hours—we note historical strike windows around subsidy announcements.
10. Arabic phrase and rank cards
Pocket PDFs with microbus stop shouts, polite refusals for overpriced felucca offers, and museum ticket vocabulary. Included in all tiers; expanded for nile-runner with market bargaining lines from travel tips.
Cards print credit-card size; laminate at Mansoura copy shops for humidity.
Audio clips optional coordinator tier—MP3 microbus stop names recorded by Karim native speaker.
13. Night-before checklist calls
Coordinator tier includes 20:00 Egypt time call night before each travel day confirming rank location unchanged. Runner tier WhatsApp text only unless you request voice.
14. Emergency reroute library
Pre-written alternates: museum closed switch campus appointment; ferry down extend Ottoman side streets; heat advisory shift tell to dawn next day. Stored NAS—customised name and dates on send.
11. Heat and season routing
Summer packs sequence indoor museums 09:00–11:30 and shift tells to first light. Winter adds Rosetta corniche walks at midday. Ramadan hours refreshed without extra desk fee on nile-runner and delta-coordinator tiers.
October cotton harvest increases truck dust on delta roads—air filtration masks optional in PDF gear lists.
12. Live WhatsApp rebooking
Nile-runner includes travel-day check-ins. Delta-coordinator assigns a named coordinator for ferry suspensions or sudden gallery closures. We reissue PDF legs within two hours when possible.
Regional coverage notes
Dakahlia governorate remains our core: Mansoura city museums, Shukri al-Qawdat microbus ranks, and Mendes approaches from the east. Kafr el-Sheikh routes serve Rosetta branch walks and western Tell el-Daba hires. Damietta governorate covers port mornings and furniture workshop stops. Sharqia villages appear in agricultural loops when clients request pigeon-tower photography east of Mansoura.
We do not operate Sinai or Red Sea modules. Cairo is a transit point only—our documents start timing from Turgoman or Ramses when you commute north without overnighting in Mansoura.
Sample two-day nile-runner stack
Day one: 08:30 Mansoura Museum Umm El Qura sequence, lunch on El Gomhouria, 14:00 campus paleontology if appointment confirmed. Day two: 07:00 microbus to Rashid, Abu Mandour walk until 12:00, optional Rashid National Museum, return before rank thinning. WhatsApp check at 06:45 confirms ferry board readable.
Day two alternate swaps Rosetta for Damietta fish market when tides favour early auctions—Karim texts harbour gossip from auctioneers he knows by voice.
What we refuse
Commission hotel bookings, Nile cruise shore-excursion markups, or unlicensed guiding inside tombs we do not track. We will not promise felucca sunset photos if branch wind exceeds safe boarding—phrase cards include polite refusal lines instead.
Deliverable formats
PDF route packs use A4 portrait with embedded Arabic fonts. WhatsApp snippets send rank photos Karim shoots weekly—green microbus windshield stickers change when unions rotate routes. Printed phrase cards available at office pickup for delta-coordinator clients flying in without printers.
How modules map to tiers
Delta-explorer chooses one museum module plus phrase card. Nile-runner combines Rosetta or Damietta with up to three hour checks. Delta-coordinator stacks archaeology tells, port mornings, and village loops across five days with unlimited verification calls.
Internal wiki changelog summaries appear in coordinator PDF footers when modules affecting your dates change.
Compare fees on pricing or contact to begin.
Coordinator tier clients receive internal module changelog summary in PDF footer when ferry schedules, museum hours, or rank photos change inside their travel window—full wiki stays desk-only. Large-font PDF option available on request for senior travellers. Backup coordinator named if primary ill—no restart fee.
Client onboarding sequence
Enquiry email arrives in shared inbox. Within four hours a coordinator acknowledges receipt with Arabic place-name preview. Delta-explorer skips phone call unless dates within seventy-two hours. Nile-runner schedules ten-minute alignment. Delta-coordinator assigns named lead and secondary backup before any guard dial.
PDF draft ships with hour matrix, fare table, phrase card, and emergency numbers. Revision round one included—all tiers. Second revision on explorer costs EGP 90; runner and coordinator unlimited reasonable edits until travel start.
Quality control
Every PDF second-read by different coordinator than author. Museum phone logs filed with date stamp photo. Fare tables compared to prior quarter—variance over fifteen percent triggers footnote explaining fuel or union change.
Spell-check Arabic diacritics optional—drivers read consonant skeleton. Map north arrow verified against OpenStreetMap delta branch edits quarterly.
Museum relationship ethics
We never tip curators for hour information—relationship built since 2013 school-group cooperation. Guards at tells receive suggested visitor tip ranges transparent in PDF, not bundled opaque guide fees.
Equipment we do not rent
No camera, tripod, or binocular hire—Mansoura shops on El Gomhouria sell basics. Sun hats available at corner kiosks cheaper than desk markup.
Insurance disclaimer
Route packs are information not insurance. Travellers maintain own medical and trip coverage. We note nearest pharmacy and hospital Arabic names per loop.
Module combination matrix
Mansoura Museum plus Rosetta walk fits nile-runner day one and two. Damietta port plus Mendes needs coordinator hire day—microbus insufficient. Campus paleontology plus municipal museum split two mornings same tier. Tell el-Daba plus Kom el-Hisn never one morning summer—heat policy.
Village market plus museum Friday impossible—museums closed. Shift market Thursday or museum Saturday.
Documentation standards
PDF page one summary map Latin and Arabic. Page two hour matrix. Page three fares. Page four phrases. Page five emergency. Coordinator tier adds page six guard phone list.
Fonts embed for offline phone read. File size target under three megabytes for email attachment.
Field update triggers
Fuel price change over ten percent. Museum renovation announcement. Ferry suspension rumour verified. Guard phone number disconnect. Union strike confirmed two plus hours.
Clients mid-trip on runner tier receive push note when trigger fires.
Languages beyond English
French PDF Layla authors. German not offered in-house—client may translate. Arabic outbound site communication only for guard and secretary calls.
Post-trip feedback
Optional email survey no incentive. Fare corrections from client receipts update next quarter table. Complaints answered within forty-eight hours managing coordinator.
Service delivery timeline
Explorer PDF within two business days. Runner alignment call before guard dials. Coordinator named lead within four hours of deposit. Revision round one included all tiers.
Fuel fare table updates quarterly—mid-trip changes pushed to runner WhatsApp when variance exceeds fifteen percent.
Ferry and branch monitoring
Rosetta western crossing depends on Nile gauge readings posted irregularly. Karim texts harbour acquaintances when water drops below operational mark. PDFs include backup plan: eastern corniche-only walk with extra Ottoman side streets.
Museum photography permits
Mansoura Museum camera tickets sell at lobby—price changes without web update. Nadia asks whether tripod ban active—usually handheld only. University campus wing forbids flash near fossil specimens regardless of permit.
Village market consent
We brief clients to ask before photographing vendors weighing vegetables. Children in markets—guardian permission required. Pigeon tower photos from road shoulder generally welcome.
PDF watermark faint GM initials corner—not DRM—print friendly. Large font option seniors—request contact form.
Runner tier includes one ferry schedule refresh mid-trip if Nile gauge changes.
Coordinator tier names backup coordinator if primary ill—continuity without restart fee.
15. Post-trip fare reconciliation
Send receipt photo if microbus fare exceeded PDF table—we update next quarter survey with your route and amount. No refund on desk fee for fare variance—that is local market reality we track not guarantee.
16. Researcher packages
Academic citations welcome in thesis—ask permission before quoting coordinator name. Bibliography of faculty papers included campus module on request.
All modules documented internal wiki—coordinator cross-cover uses same checklists when primary on harbour call.
Internal module changelog dated—clients receive only diff summary relevant their dates not full wiki export.
Module list updates when new ferry schedule source verified—changelog dated PDF footer.
Explorer second revision costs EGP ninety; runner and coordinator include reasonable edits until departure day.
